PATRICK SIMONE
Culinary Development Group
Managing Partner
Patrick Simone is a Managing Partner of the Culinary Development Group and serves as the key Research & Development advisor for all of CDG’s product development projects. Patrick has developed hundreds of proprietary food and beverage products with an emphasis on plant-based foods. His highly intuitive palette has been honed through decades spent as an executive restaurant chef, corporate chef, food manager, and production manager.
Patrick synergizes his expertise in food and beverage sales, product development, business strategy, and the launch of two successful food brands in his consulting and development work here at CDG. His direct entrepreneurial experience founding Pulp Kitchen Juice Co. and Vermont Kale Chips informs how we coach our clients for success in today’s market. Additionally, Patrick brings to Culinary Development Group his wide-ranging industry connections and supply chain expertise as a food broker, importer, and distributor.
His extensive ingredient and compound knowledge, coupled with his extremely strong relationship-building skills ensure that Culinary Development Group delivers the iconic, manufacturable solutions our clients depend on us for.

Ricardo is a Managing Partner of the Culinary Development Group and serves as the Manufacturing Specialist for all of our projects.
Ricardo is the President & CEO of Ricardo Food Group, as well as a former Executive Chef and a Manufacturing Methodology Process Expert. With more than 40 years’ experience in all aspects of bakery, food, beverage products and processes, he is a renowned expert in Co-Manufacturing, Co-Packing, and Private Label.
His hobbies include antique camera collecting and he is considered by many chefs and food-service professionals as an outstanding pizza connoisseur and innovator.
